From Years of DIY Landscaping to a Modern Outdoor Space

The property was an older home with years of DIY landscaping and significant drainage problems throughout the outdoor areas. The homeowner wanted a complete renovation that would replace the existing landscape with a cleaner, more modern design requiring less maintenance.

We worked with the homeowner from the initial landscape planning through the final installation. Once the layout was finalized, we demolished the existing landscape, removed multiple loads of brick, dirt, and other materials for recycling, and created a new opening in the block wall for an access gate.

A Closer Look at the Complete Landscape Renovation

This project involved extensive improvements across the front yard, backyard, and pool area, along with drainage and irrigation upgrades. Each part of the renovation contributed to the homeowner's goal of creating a modern, low-maintenance landscape with more usable outdoor space.

• Landscape Design & Site Preparation: Worked with the homeowner to finalize the layout, demolished the existing landscape, removed multiple loads of old materials for recycling, and installed a new access gate in the existing block wall.
• Concrete RV Parking & Patio: Installed a large concrete RV parking area, a new concrete patio, and a designated concrete area for a small storage shed.
• Front Yard Hardscaping: Added a decorative paver walkway and a large paver seating area near the front entrance, along with artificial turf.
• Backyard & Pool Area Improvements: Installed sections of artificial turf and travertine patios and walkways around the swimming pool to provide additional usable outdoor space.
• Underground Drainage System: Installed an extensive underground drainage system to collect and direct water from the backyard toward the front of the property.
• Drip Irrigation & Planting: Installed a new drip irrigation system and added plants and a new tree in the front yard.
